ANIMAL RESCUE GROUPS IN ACADIANA
We would love to have you participate in the parade this year and also to benefit from its success! If your group is interested, please contact us via our Facebook page or email us 
krewedeschien@gmail.com.  Below are requirements that we ask of you should you choose to participate. All funds generated from the parade (minus monies retained to produce the parade in 2024) will be distributed amongst all rescue groups who opt to participate and adhere to the conditions below. The deadline for registering is  January 15. 

• Minimum of 2 volunteers from your group. Volunteers will be needed to carry a banner if we have one available
  

• Your group can walk, ride a car, ride a float, use strollers or golf carts when walking as a group in the parade.
  

• Liability forms must be filled out for each volunteer, you can find it HERE
  

• Any dogs walked MUST be available for adoption and must be walked by volunteers. Only dogs available for adoption may be walked in the parade with your group. All personal/other dogs will need to be registered as KDC members and a $25 fee must be collected for any personal dogs that are walked.
